Key West 9.17.11 – The Maitland Wedding Day Sunrise I was in K.W. this weekend for the wedding of my friends Larry and Shana (Maitland). This was my second trip to K.W. the first was last year for fantasy fest (late Oct) with Shana, Larry and another friend Beth. On this day I just made it to the beach in time to catch the sunrise. I didn’t know what I was going to shoot and I hadn’t been to this beach before. I saw this palm tree with the sun coming up behind it, and the clouds were perfect. I waited about 5 minutes for the colors to get where I wanted them, and this is what I captured.
